Preparing for Spring - and a Giveaway!

Spring is my absolute favorite season of the year! I love being able to work on projects outside again. Last year I repainted my Iron Urns. This year I plan on repainting my front door and a couple of my garden benches.
I just deadheaded my Hydrangea bushes... clipping off the old blossoms to make way for the new ones.
It won't be long before they look like this!!
The Lavender will be blooming soon too ... and the fragrance will be enjoyed by all who pass by!

My Peach trees already have pretty blossoms on them. So pretty!

There's only one thing that I don't like about Spring ... yep, you guessed it ... Allergy Season! If you are like me... well it's not a pretty story. Red itchy eyes, sneezing, sinus problems ... you get the picture.
So when I was asked to try out Similasan Nasal Allergy Relief, a 100 % natural nasal mist, my response was ... yes please! Similasan products are produced in Switzerland, to the highest quality standards.
I just have to take a moment to show you the packaging they sent this in. It came beautifully wrapped in Turquoise tissue paper ... how did they know I LOVE Turquoise?! And there was a pretty label on the box... and a nice hand written note. You can tell these people really care about their products. I like that!
Because I'm allergic to numerous other things besides pollen, I first tested a bit of the product out on my face, which tends to be really sensitive. It passed that test with flying colors! Similasan's spray is apparently one of the only medicated, preservative free nasal decongestants for nasal allergies that you can buy, so I'm sure that helped.
My body tends to respond well to homepathic products, like Similasan, so it's a good option for me. Another thing that I like about it is that I don't have to worry about my body becoming reliant on it, like some over the counter nasal sprays that are available, so it provides safe effective relief.
After trying it out for a week, I found that I quite like this product. The Similasan Nasal Allergy Relief mist, stimulates the body's natural ability to relieve the symptoms that you get from allergies, like runny nose, sinus pressure, sneezing, congestion, post nasal drip etc. I definitely noticed an improvement, my sinuses were much relieved, and I plan on using it daily to get me through the rest of the season!
Similasan Homeopathic Nasal Mist is available at Walgreens and other major online retailers as well. I found it at my favorite health food store, there was only one bottle left on the shelf the last time I was there, so I guess I'm not the only one that likes it!!
